Yasmin Al-Douri was selected as a Landecker Democracy Fellow and will work together with Humanity in Action and the Alfred Landecker Foundation on further developing the Responsible Technology Hub.
The Landecker Democracy Fellowship annually supports diverse changemakers in unpacking and addressing historic and contemporary systems of inequity. The 2022/23 cohort brings together 30 Fellows to realize project ideas that tackle some of the democratic challenges and opportunities of our digital age.
The Fellowship
Humanity in Action launched the Landecker Democracy Fellowship in 2020 in partnership with the Alfred Landecker Foundation. Annually, the Fellowship brings together 30 diverse leaders from the European Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States who spend one year creating projects that reinvent democratic spaces. Each year, the Fellowship focuses on a different set of democratic challenges. With the financial support, programming, and guidance, the third cohort of #LandeckerFellows will work together from November 20, 2022 to November 19, 2023. They will build community and maintain close ties to the Alfred Landecker Foundation and the Humanity in Action alumni networks beyond their Fellowship.
